Tai Chi
Tai Chi is the ultimate exercise system, exercising the Body, Mind and Spirit
| Body |
|
Tai Chi movements develop strength and flexibility in joints, strengthening tendons and ligaments rather than muscle. The movements massage lymph node sites and develop balance and physical awareness and promote relaxation in movement. |

| Mind |
|
Initially the mind has to focus to learn moves and concentration is required to learn Tai Chi. It is based on learning to “feel” how the body moves. At a higher level, intention and awareness is used and developed. |

| Spirit |
|
It requires a great deal of determination to learn Tai Chi developing a strength of spirit. If you think you will learn Tai Chi in a year or two, forget it, it is a lifetimes journey. |
I believe it is the only exercise system that you can do, that you get better at as you get older.
